"Value of 84 bottles mercury since used £76.18.7*.

This deduction was made under the

misapprehension that this mercury had been consumed.

I find however that the contents of these bottles was

simply poured into the proper receptacle in the apparatus

at the time of its erection and there it still remains.

This portion of the claim amounts therefore to £5,066.3.1

and not £4,989.4.4, as first given.
